those good desert vibes: coachella 2016

now that the post-festival letdown and FOMO have *slightly* passed, i'm ready to post some coachella pics from a few weeks ago! if you've ever been there or to any other music festival, you know how hard it is to describe it. in a nutshell, it's a complete sensory overload filled with amazing music, stunning art pieces and the best people watching money can buy. as you can imagine, we had no fun at all and i'm ready to go back, like, now. check out our weekend in the desert!

sundown sets are by far the best.

a definite highlight of coachella, in my opinion, is the craft beer barn, which has a ton of local brews. my favorite of the weekend was hello, la IPA. so wish i could have taken some home with me!

one thing coachella definitely isn't lacking is amazing food options from vendors all around the LA area. i forgot to take a picture before devouring, but sumo dog had the tastiest asian-inspired loaded tots, shortly followed by a roast beef from top round next door. andrew also nabbed some bacon cheese fries from another stand on day three (below). i would, no lie, eat a coachella corn dog every single day (they are incredible), but having some out-of-the-box options is never a bad thing!

naps in the sun!

this is the only photo i got of the DoLab, definitely one of the most fun parts of Coachella. think music, water guns and dancing. it's an absolute riot.

the next two photos are of two of the main art installations this year. from year to year, part of the magic is never knowing what is going to be featured until you get there. i can't imagine how long these must take to plan for and create and it really is quite something not only to see them during the day, but the life they take on at nighttime. the pieces end up creating iconic backdrops for each year. look no further than your nearest instagram over those two weeks. art!

miss you already, coachella! see you next year!
